Welcome, Fr Zachary Lewis!
We’re really excited to welcome Fr Zachary Lewis to St Margaret Mary’s Parish, Merrylands. After serving in the Archdiocese of Brisbane and at Marian Valley, and now celebrating seven years as a priest, he brings great experience, energy, and a real love for ministry.
Fr Zachary is a young, passionate priest with a big heart for serving the Lord and His people. We’re grateful to have him join our parish family and look forward to getting to know him and sharing this next chapter together.

Fr Jeremy has spent four great years at St Margaret Mary’s, and the parish came together on 4th July to celebrate his time with us before he heads off to become Parish Priest in St. Paul’s, Moss Vale. The big turnout showed just how many people he’s supported, encouraged, and brought together, especially our young people, who’ve really thrived under his pastoral care.
He’s been a steady, welcoming presence, always working behind the scenes to build community and help people grow in their faith. From youth events to parish celebrations and the Good Friday Night Walks, he’s left us with plenty of good memories and a stronger, more connected parish.
We’re sad to see him go, but incredibly grateful for everything he’s given us. St. Paul’s, Moss Vale is lucky to have him, and he’ll always be part of our St Margaret Mary’s family. We wish him every blessing as he starts this new chapter.
