Veneration of the Holy Face of Jesus (Holy Shroud)

The Holy Shroud Group promotes devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus and awareness of the Shroud of Turin, the ancient linen cloth believed to bear the image of Christ after His crucifixion and burial.

The group reflects on the Passion of Jesus and the meaning of the Shroud as a sign pointing to His suffering, death, and resurrection. Inspired by the tradition of devotion to the Holy Face, members gather in prayer and learning to deepen faith and appreciation of Christ’s sacrifice.

The group also serves on the first Sunday of each month at the 10:30am Mass as choir and readers.

Divine Mercy

The Divine Mercy Devotion began in the parish in 2011, with the first Feast of Mercy (Divine Mercy Sunday) celebrated on 1 May 2011 with Fr. Rod Bray as main celebrant. Since then, the devotion has continued to grow and remains one of the most active ministries in the parish.

Inspired by the revelations of St. Faustina Kowalska, the devotion proclaims God’s infinite mercy and calls us to trust in Jesus and show mercy to others. Through prayer, reflections from the Diary of St. Faustina, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and veneration of the Divine Mercy Image, the ministry encourages the faithful to live out mercy through both spiritual and corporal works of mercy. The ministry also offers home enthronement of the Divine Mercy Image for families wishing to entrust their homes to Jesus’ mercy.

The devotion continues to be a source of hope, healing, & spiritual renewal within the parish.

Alliance of the Two Hearts

Alliance of the Two Hearts is a Roman Catholic devotion symbolising the inseparable, spiritual union between the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Coined by Pope John Paul II in 1985, this devotion emphasizes love, mercy, and reparation for sins through prayer, particularly the Rosary, Eucharist, and adoration. It represents the unity of Jesus’s infinite love and Mary’s maternal, compassionate heart, often described as two hearts beating as one.

Associated with Alliance of the Holy Family International (AHFI), this group promotes the enthronement of the two hearts in homes to bring families closer to God.

The Key elements include the 9 First Friday and 5 First Saturday devotions, confession, Eucharistic adoration, and the Rosary.

The church commemorates the Sacred Heart of Jesus (usually June) and the Immaculate Heart of Mary on consecutive days. To promote conversion, reparation, and a, “safe refuge” for souls in modern times. This devotion is often represented in art showing the heart of Jesus crowned with thorns and the heart of Mary pierced by a sword, both burning with love.

Marian Movement Cenacle

The Marian Movement Cenacle is a prayer group open to all parishioners who wish to deepen their devotion to Our Lady and grow in their consecration to her Immaculate Heart. Drawing its name from the Upper Room where the Apostles gathered with Mary before Pentecost, the cenacle brings members together in a spirit of prayer, fraternity, and shared faith.

Each gathering follows a simple format: an opening invocation to the Holy Spirit, the recitation of the Rosary, prayers for the Holy Father, a reading and reflection from spiritual writings on Marian consecration, and a closing Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. No prior experience is needed — all are welcome, whether coming alone, as a couple, or as a family.

If you feel called to pray more deeply with Mary and with fellow parishioners, we warmly invite you to join us.
